Tuners run under the most strenuous conditions known in the Automotive Arena. In part, this is due to high engine temperatures experienced under the hood by the engine. Since most tuners are sub compacts and usually have 4 to 6 cylinders their capacity to hold oil is dropped to a minimum (4-5 quarts) thus sacrificing performance and engine efficiency. In such applications it makes no sense to compromise performance or endurance with low quality oil products.
